Cline Residence, Middletown, New Jersey

This residence, located along the banks of the Navesink River, was a massive restoration and renovation project. Rudolph Architects was commissioned by the owners to restore the once grandiose mansion to its original splendor. A new porte cochere was added to give definition and importance to the entrance.  To further elevate the procession sequence, a portion of the second floor was removed to create an elegant two-story reception hall.  A grand stairway was added, and many of the interior spaces were both restored and re-planned to take full advantage of the pleasant river setting.
